Andy Burnham has pleasure in extending an open invitation to this event to all members of your CLP, and their friends and families. This is not being limited to Labour members or to people from Leigh, as Andy would like as large a cross section of society as possible to come together.
He will be launching his campaign for the leadership for the Labour Party in the heart of his constituency, at Leigh Sports Village, Sale Way, Leigh, WN7 4JY, on Wednesday, 26 May 2010. Gates will open at 5.30pm. Details of how to get there can be found at

There will be a variety of entertainment, and Andy will be inviting people to contribute ideas showing how Labour can reconnect with the wider public.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for people from all walks of life to demonstrate their support, and to help Labour to reconnect.
